Jamie Lee Curtis Interested in Becomming a Regular a series regular 'NCIS'
Jamie Lee Curtis brought a ratings boost to "NCIS" with her guest-starring role as Dr. Samantha Ryan and the actress said she is open to becoming a series regular.
"If they can figure out the storytelling, which I'm sure Gary can, I would obviously love to," Curtis said on "CBS This Morning" on Friday. "I've very much enjoyed establishing her life and her role on the show, and now I would love to be able to play a little bit with Gibbs."

Curtis joined the CBS series originally for a two-episode story arc in late February as Dr. Samantha Ryan of the PsyOps Division and Mark Harmon's character Special Agent Gibbs' potential love interest. She will reprise her role for a third episode on Tuesday, April 10.
"Gibbs is one of the most interesting male characters on TV," Curtis continued. "What I love, is that every woman I know is holding out hope, particularly single women - even some married women - that if they wait long enough, Gibbs will wait for them."
The actress and Harmon previously played a married couple in the 2003 movie "Freaky Friday," where Curtis was seen switching bodies with her daughter, portrayed by Lindsay Lohan.
The show, a criminal investigation drama that debuted in 2003, focuses on a team of special agents in the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and stars Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly Cote de Pablo and Pauley Perrette.
Agent Gibbs has had a spotty love life during the show's history, having been married four times. He was widowed by his first wife and divorced the other three times.
Curtis' "NCIS" debut made the series the most-watched program on Tuesday evening, with 19.5 million viewers.
Curtis has recently appeared in commercials for Activia yogurt. Her most recent role was in the 2010 comedy "You Again."
The 53-year-old actress is best known for her roles in films like "True Lies," "Halloween" and "A Fish Called Wanda." She is married to screenwriter and director Christopher Guest.
