Barry Bonds Officially Divorced, Barry Bonds is a single man again ... no asterisk needed ... because his marriage is officially over,

The breakup between Barry and Elizabeth Watson Bonds has been going on for YEARS -- she first filed papers in 2009, then they reconciled ... only to split again in 2010 for good. 

Now, after 4 years in the court system, an L.A. County Superior Court judge has signed off on the divorce ... meaning 50-year-old Barry is back on the market. 

According to the docs, filed in L.A. and obtained  Sports, Barry and Elizabeth struck a private deal that presumably covers everything from money to custody of their 5-year-old daughter. 

The two were married back in 1998 ... many, many hat sizes ago.

Oscar de la Renta -- who recently designed Amal Clooney's wedding dress and famously dressed Jackie Kennedy -- is dead.

De la Renta had been diagnosed with cancer in 2006 ... though it's unclear at this point what caused his death.

De la Renta was born in the Dominican Republic, and became internationally known in the 60s as one of Jackie Kennedy's favorite designers. He had just announced a knockoff version of Amal's now famous gown would be added to his 2015 bridal collection.

He built his brand into more than just a fashion house -- eventually launching his famous fragrance ... OSCAR ... and also a home wares line.

'American Idol' Contestant, Joanne Borgella Dead at 32, From 'Rare Case' of Cancer, Former "American Idol" contestant Joanne Borgella died Saturday at the age of 32 ... after fighting for the past year against what she described as a "rare case" of cancer.

Borgella's family broke the news on her, page Saturday ... saying the singer passed away around 5:45AM -- adding, "Her faith, courage and strength were unshaken throughout every obstacle she encountered."

Joanne was the first winner of "Mo'Nique's Fat Chance" using the name "Miss F.A.T." in 2005. In 2008 she was on Season 7 of "A.I." and made it into the top 12 girls category.

Last year, Joanne said her cancer was rare because it had spread to her chest -- the family's post on Facebook described it as endometrial cancer ... a form of cancer that attacks the lining of the womb.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the prize saying that peaceful global development can only come about if children and the young are respected.

Malala is the youngest person to be awarded the globally prestigious annual prize.

"The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2014 is to be awarded to Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzai for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education," the jury said.

Malala Yousafzai -- who survived being shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012 -- was recognised for fighting for years for the right of girls to education, showing by example that children can contribute to improving their own situations.

"This she has done under the most dangerous circumstances," the committee said.

"Through her heroic struggle she has become a leading spokesperson for girls’ rights to education."

It also said that the prize recognised work by Satyarthi to head various forms of protests and demonstrations, all peaceful, focusing on the grave exploitation of children for financial gain.

"Children must go to school and not be financially exploited," the committee said.

"In conflict-ridden areas in particular, the violation of children leads to the continuation of violence from generation to generation."

Well after serving the first six years in prison, you would think that one would use the opportunities that he's been given by the show to mentor young people not to walk in his shoes or to legitimize himself. But nope, he used the show as an opportunity to swindle people out of their money.  Do I feel a little sorry for Phaedra, of course I do because its a slap in her face to know that the man that she loved, laid down with and created beautiful boys with has been lying to her the entire time. And with those lies it will always make her wonder "WHAT ELSE HAS HE BEEN LYING ABOUT"? Was he lying when he told me he loved me? Was he lying about why he got home so late? And for him to be upset about her not supporting him during his sentencing is just another way he's showing his narcissistic and selfish ways. He wants her to support him, but he didn't even support himself enough JUST TO DO RIGHT!!!
