Beverly Hills, CA – The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” starts on March 22. This season is headlined by former Baywatch vixen Pamela Anderson and by the newly crowned men’s figure skating Olympic champion, Evan Lysacek.

Anderson is by far the biggest name to put on pumps and go for dancing glory on the reality show. She will be joined by astronaut Buzz Aldrin ; reality stars Kate Gosselin and Jake Pavelka and Erin Andrews ; singer Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls; football star Chad Ochocinco ; and actors Shannen Doherty , Aiden Turner and Niecy Nash .

Lysacek’s participation comes a great surprise as he just won Olympic gold only two weeks ago. One would expect him to be off doing lucrative exhibitions or preparing to head off to Italy for the March World Figure Skating Championships to defend his 2009 world title. His classical training and athletic prowess and ability to learn intricate choreography should make him an early favorite to win this competition as he has done many times before at the US National Championships, the World Figure Skating Championships and International Grand Prix Championships. Former US, World and Olympic figure skating champion Kristi Yamaguchi is also a “Dancing with the Stars” champion.

How did you pick yourself up from the tragic loss of your first child Georgie to leukaemia.............

I kept on working because it was an escape. It wasn’t just her death, it was a 10 year battle for her life and an incredibly difficult thing to deal with emotionally. As a family we were on this emotional rollercoaster, and in many ways it was much easier to cope with the illness itself, I had Georgie there and there was a purpose – fighting to try and save her. When she actually died it became really difficult, I’d had 10 years to think about what it would be like, but it turned out to be much more difficult to deal with not only in terms of my own grief but in terms of having to deal with the whole family’s emotions. It’s an ongoing difficulty because I’ll never, ever get over it, and I don’t think any of us will. It’s enormously humbling watching an incredibly brave child fight for life, it made me think I had no right to complain about anything because no matter how much she was going through Georgie never complained. Although it’s been a desperate, dreadful thing to live through I wouldn’t give up having been her mother for anything in the world, it taught me so much, including that there’s more to life than wealth and success, and was been the defining experience of my life.

"They just drifted apart," says a close friend of the couple of the amicable split. "They’re both working hard on their careers and trying to raise a sweet baby together. They're still friends and they'll both raise Lucia together."
Hopefully they can remain friends and keep things amicable for the baby's sake. Mel also has seven children with his ex-wife Robyn.

Reportedly, Justin Timberlake “tortured” Jessica Biel by agreeing to make 'Bad Teacher' with Cameron Diaz.
Justin's friends believe that his taking on the role has contributed to the problems in his relationship, which is rumoured to have ended.
A source said:
"He tortured Jess by taking this role. They were having huge arguments on the phone and Jessica would get territorial and upset.”
Insiders claim Jessica’s attitude has driven Justin, closer to Cameron and they are friendlier than ever.
The source added to Us Weekly magazine:
“There’s lots of laughing, making fun of each other, kidding around off camera. They’re having a ball together.”
Justin reportedly confided in his pals that he has “lost respect” for Jessica.
An insider said:
"Justin truly thought he'd found the one in Jessica and she felt the same. But the relationship just didn't seem to go anywhere.
"They've both been working incredibly hard and will remain friendly - but there's no more romance.
"It was mutual and they agreed it was best to part ways if things weren't going to head towards marriage and kids. They are both incredibly busy.”
