We got hold of Ariana's first entertainment contract for the 2009 Nickelodeon show "Victorious."  She raked in $9,000 per episode for the first season -- not bad for an unknown 16-year-old.

She got even more for writing songs for the show ... $4K for a theme song, $3K for a song played in various episodes, and $1,500 for a 20-second ditty.

She got another music contract to record up to 5 albums -- with a guarantee that starts at $50K for the first album and goes up from there.

Best part -- her contract promises that other than "marquee" stars like Victoria Justice -- no one would have a better dressing room than hers.

'American Idol' Contestant, Joanne Borgella Dead at 32, From 'Rare Case' of Cancer, Former "American Idol" contestant Joanne Borgella died Saturday at the age of 32 ... after fighting for the past year against what she described as a "rare case" of cancer.

Borgella's family broke the news on her, page Saturday ... saying the singer passed away around 5:45AM -- adding, "Her faith, courage and strength were unshaken throughout every obstacle she encountered."

Joanne was the first winner of "Mo'Nique's Fat Chance" using the name "Miss F.A.T." in 2005. In 2008 she was on Season 7 of "A.I." and made it into the top 12 girls category.

Last year, Joanne said her cancer was rare because it had spread to her chest -- the family's post on Facebook described it as endometrial cancer ... a form of cancer that attacks the lining of the womb.

It is indeed a very sweet melodious and mesmerizing song. And as a matter of fact it really brings back so many memories. I still remember the times when this version was released, those nights with my earphones on, playing this song repeatedly the whole night and getting lost into so many thoughts. Amazing!! But the unfortunate thing is i still didnt understand most of the lyrics like you mentioned "Mei awaz huw toh tu hai geet mera" i got the meaning of this part but never knew the meaning  these lines and few llines more 'miljaye isthara dow lehre jisthara, phir how na juddah, yeh vaadah raha". Aaliyah,Family Vows To Torpedo Biopic,Aaliyah's family is on the attack against "Lifetime" ... vowing to stop production on her biopic.

Lifetime plans to start filming this summer .... chronicling the R&B singer's life and tragic death. 17-year-old Disney actress Zendaya has been cast as Aaliyah -- who died in 2001 in a plane crash.

Aaliyah's uncle and former manager, Barry Hankerson, tells us the family is pissed that no one from the network contacted them about the movie.

Hankerson says the family will block any attempt on Lifetime's part to use any of Aaliyah's music.  He says the family has hired a lawyer and will do everything they can to block release of the flick.

The family is not opposed to a big, theatrical film, but thinks a TV movie is too small for someone as big as Aaliyah.  We called Lifetime ... so far no response.
