The epic return of Bachelor Pad started solidly for ABC, matching its performance from last summer despite stretching to three whole hours.
Bachelor Pad was seen by 6.9 million viewers with a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating, steady in the demo compared to last summer’s debut and up 8 percent among total viewers. Bach couldn’t top Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen (6.5 million, 2.7) or MasterChef (5.5 million, 2.3) in the demo, yet still represents a good number for ABC in the
summer — especially since last summer it didn’t have to contend with Hell’s at all.
Over on Oxygen, The Glee Project continues to grow. The series delivered 912,000 viewers on Sunday, its biggest audience yet.
