Lady Gaga celebrated her 28th birthday with an energetic but short concert at the Roseland Ballroom in her first of seven concerts at the closing venue. Gaga performed for an hour Friday night in front of a feverish crowd. She started with a slow version of "Born This Way" on piano, with the audience joining in. She followed that with the jams "Monster" and "Bad Romance." She danced and sang on the side of the stage in a red tight leotard."Thank you so much for spending my birthday with me," she yelled to the audience, which included her actor-boyfriend Taylor Kinney and Nate Ruess, lead singer for the band Fun.Gaga was in top form as she sang nearly a dozen of her songs, including "Just Dance," an acoustic version of "Poker Face," and the recent hit "Applause." The concert's main surprise: It was too short. After she ended, fans waited for the pop star to hit the stage again. She never did. She performed some tracks from her recent album, "ARTPOP," which has struggled to match the success of her other releases. But onstage, she showed no signs of slowing down. Lady Gaga performs at closing Roseland Ballroom. Gaga closed with the new single, "G.U.Y.," now wearing an all-white ensemble .her sixth costume change for the night. "Thanks for making this the best birthday ever," she said. The New York-born singer will perform six more shows at the Roseland Ballroom, helping close the famed venue that opened eight decades ago. Performers in the past have included The Rolling Stones, Madonna and Beyonce, who famously performed four shows in 2011 when she was pregnant. "How many New Yorkers are in here tonight?" Gaga asked early in the show. "Do you believe in love? Do you?" . This freak needs some serious help. For someone who consistently preaches about to "just be yourself" she sure covers her head a lot. She has some serious self esteem issues. She's always contradicting herself and just looks like a fool.  maybe I'm just getting older? nawwww, just wiser! too many of these bizarre costumes is getting old, not even disgusting because they don't seem to top each other anymore. we've seen it all from feigned nudity to out and out nudity and it's just not doing it anymore.....it does NOT entertain me anymore. Gaga timeto change your facade of what you think is entertainment or leave the room.

Oderus Urungus. was found early Sunday morning dead, sitting upright in a chair at his Richmond, VA home.We're told foul play is not suspected ... and one law enforcement sources told us, "There were no drugs found, as far as I know."Another law enforcement source tells us it was not a suicide.  No note was found. Brockie was found by his roommate. The band shot to superstardom because their over-the-top horror show music videos were a staple on "Beavis and Butthead" back in the day. Old bands can never record the stuff they did in their younger days. Even the Stones last

albums after Tatoo You have not been good. I loved Eddie and his work but lets remember the young  Eddie sweating over his axe in all the old photos of the 1980's. By the way, I used to see Van Halen in the old backyard parties of the mid 1970's. I lived in the San Gabriel Valley and still do. I relish those days. AND AGAIN, VAN HALEN WAS ONE OF THOSE GREAT BANDS OF THE EARLIER TO MID 1980. Yeah Van Halen is a great band, or was should I say. Eddie and Alex are still as good as they always were, But Roth is a joke, he can't sing anymore and they have to play so loud so you can't hear his awful singing. We went to the show the last time they toured and it was awful, I like my music loud, but this was ear piercing loud. Its not worth the hassle   At least Hagar can still sing and play. I am a huge fan of both Hagar and Roth but if it sucks it sucks

So the first night of the second UK leg of her Mrs Carter tour in Glasgow's brand new SSE Hydro arena was never going to be a quiet affair. Just 24 hours after her stunning Brits performance, trouper Bey was ready to do it all again, and some. It was a special night to see the songstress as she performed tracks from her new album - Beyonce - for the first time ever. The superstar's secret seven-hour all night rehearsal on Monday clearly paid off as the show was tightly produced, slickly delivered and dazzling to the extreme.
The majority of the venue's capacity was taken up with girls emulating aspects of Beyonce's signature glam style - whether it be sequins, big hair or high heels, their excitement adding to the electric atmosphere.

Can we just take another moment to recognize the fact that it is impossible to walk into a college or high school English class and not hear that at least a quarter of the students' favorite book is Harry Potter? Rowling inspired kids to read and drove parents mad by causing there children to stay up all night reading her series.As Albus Dumbledore said, "Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it." My favorite situation of all of the films, is the scene where Hermione is listening to the radio while wearing the horcrux looking visibly depressed when Harry takes it off of her neck and begins to dance with her, it's a very moving scene to me. All they have is each other in that moment and that's where I felt that they would be a better couple because there's no jealousy on either side. Ron as a character is insecure and jealous like crazy. A tad possessive even maybe.  While I loved the books, I can see Ms. Rowlings point of view if it were real life, but for the stories, Ron's growing interest in Hermione played a strong role in increasing amounts as the books/stories progressed. I think that fans would have viewed Harry as a bit of a traitor/backstabber to his best friend if he had ended up with Ron's long time love interest. It would also have left Ron's younger sister, Ginny, as a loose end in the stories too. If she had had Ron killed off rather than one of his brothers in the last book then Harry could have, maybe, married Hermione and gotten away with it, though he had showed interest in Ginny from early on too. After years of squabbling, Harry Potter's best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Grainger finally became an item -- but now their creator JK Rowling has admitted she made a mistake by marrying them off. Hermione -- whose quick wits get the teen wizards out of many a scrape in Rowling's hit novels -- would have been better off with hero Harry, the British author said in comments published by the Sunday Times newspaper.
