No Good Deed Goes Unpunished

McGuiness
The Wanted Singers.Attacked by Knife-Wielding.Homeless Guy..... No good deed goes unpunished ... a lesson learned the hard way Wednesday after Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness from The Wanted were attacked by a homeless guy with a knife -- after they tried to give him money.

Sources tell TMZ, the guys were in Denver on tour earlier this week and went to see the new Johnny Depp movie "Transcendence" before their concert. We're told they were leaving the theater when they passed a homeless guy asking for money.

Our sources say Siva obliged and gave the guy a few bucks, but he demanded more. We're told the guys turned him down, but the homeless guy wouldn't take no for an answer ... and PULLED OUT A KNIFE.

We're told the guys scuffled with the homeless man and eventually got away. Our sources say neither guy was injured and cops were not called.

And this is what happens when you go see "Transcendence."

Selena Gomez Unfollows Famous Friends on Instagram

Selena Gomez Unfollows Famous Friends on Instagram, Posts Cryptic Messages.Bye Bye what little career you had left. I thought when she got out of Rehab, she had learned from her mistakes, of course I was wrong. She has ditched her true friends for a relationship with Justin which will end up blowing up in her face. Justin can't even keep himself off drugs and now he will drag her down with him. Lots of people talked with Justin and he really didn't care to straighten up his act. She will learn in time what mistake she has made this time. Money does not guarantee happiness.

Hey Morgan, here's a novel idea. Why don't you shut up. When a person becomes a celebrity they no long have a private life. Everything they say and do is scrutinized by the masses. That is the price of becoming a celeb. People will and are going to say what they think. Personally I think it is a bad idea for her to get back with that loser. He clearly isn't a stand up person and will bring her down in the long run.

Selena Gomez has broken up with a lot of her famous friends… on Instagram at least. The "Slow Down" singer, 21, unfollowed new pals Kendall and Kylie Jenner over the weekend and deleted photos she had taken with the reality stars as well. Taylor Swift also reportedly got the axe (on Twitter, too) adding fuel to the rumors that the two had a falling out. View gallery . While Gomez was still following 14 people on Tuesday on the social media site (including "Spring Breakers" co-star Ashley Benson), by Wednesday that number had dropped to zero.

Justin Bieber's on-again, off-again love has also been posting some cryptic messages on Instagram.

On Tuesday, she shared a review of Mary J. Blige's 2007 album "Growing Pains" with the lyrics to the song "Work in Progress." One sample lyric: "I got every material thing I could ever need/ I got the love from my fans that adore me/ And I'm grateful/ But love for myself is lacking a little bit/ I have to admit that I'm working on me." Gomez has been going through a lot of personal and professional changes.

The former Disney darling fired her mother and stepfather as managers and signed with Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Gomez also exited CAA for WME. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the rep changes are a crucial piece in Gomez's long-term strategy to move on to more adult-oriented fare in film and music. While the reasoning makes sense, many fans have speculated there is also a Bieber factor at play. Gomez's parents reportedly are not fans of the reconciliation. The "Confident" singer is rumored to be the root cause of Swift and Gomez's fallout as well.

Bieber and Gomez did appear to be "together" during the first weekend of Coachella. The "Wizards of Waverly Place" star watched on as Bieber made a surprise cameo on stage, and according to backstage sources, they looked "very couple-y and affectionate" roaming around the music festival together.

Oh, and the Biebs still follows Gomez on Instagram, so all is right in the world.

. You have pushed away your family and keep going back to the toxic relationship with the twit Bieber and you might as well just go away. Serious acting and such you said you wanted to do will go away because directors aren't going to want to associate with you. Such a beautiful girl and with actual talent. I let my kids watch your shows and listen to your music but now I think it's time those things stop. While I'm my kids role model I still don't want them to think that your way of life is healthy.

Entertainment industry cover up department: The supervising art director for Django Unchained, Interstellar (2014), Amazing Spider Man, Spider Man 3, Iron Man 1 &2, A Few Good Men, Lethal Weapon films, Charlies Angels and many other films lost at trial last month on charges of sexual a s s a u l t, libel and intentional inflcition of emotional distress of award winning transgender singer Bralalalala. The director had been offering solicitation of the singers products but the singer did not realize it required sex until she was a s s a u l t e d on his couch after being declined a ride home. The girlfriend of the director lured the singer and other women to the house at other times on strictly platonic professional related pretenses. The directors effort to sue the singer and random others was dismissed. The criminal case remains pending and this civil case is not appealed. The case was not reported to keep the social status quo being that the victim is transgender and the assailant is a director of so many blockbuster films.

Good for Captain America. Glad it is doing good in the theaters. I haven't seen it yet, but I plan too. I think I will pass on the rest, especially Transcendence. Like others have posted, it does look like a Lawnmower Man remake. Though I do think that Depp would make a decent Dr. Strange. Maybe he could play that character after he is finished with another PoTC movie. Maybe that will get him out of his flop funk.

I saw Capt. America and it was awesome! The chemistry between Cap, Widow and falcon was great and it didn't looked forced. Thor the Dark World was too much girl eye-candy and Jane Foster keeps behaving like a giddy schoolgirl although she's supposed to be a scientist. The C. A. movies are very close to the comic books, same like the Iron Man movies. That's why they are so popular.

Captain America continues to vanquish box office foes, triumphing in ticket sales for the third consecutive week and dominating over megastar Johnny Depp's new movie.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" added another $26 million to its coffers, according to studio estimates Sunday, while Depp's sci-fi thriller, "Transcendence," opened in fourth place with $11 million.

Directed by longtime Christopher Nolan cinematographer Wally Pfister, the Warner Bros. film is Depp's third consecutive box office disappointment. He played Tonto in last summer's "The Lone Ranger" — one of the biggest flops of 2013 — and starred in 2012's comedy-horror dud, "Dark Shadows."

"As we approach the summer movie season, box-office drawing power becomes more about the concept of the movie rather than its star," said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst for box-office tracker Rentrak. "It may not have been so much (about) Johnny Depp, but audiences right now like brands that they know."

That doesn't bode well for original ideas, such as "Transcendence," penned by first-time screenwriter Jack Paglen. Dergarabedian notes that 12 sequels are expected this summer alone.

Another new movie, the religious-themed "Heaven Is for Real," debuted in third place over Easter weekend, while another sequel, "Rio 2," held on to the second spot.

Faith-based films are performing well, Dergarabedian said, with four releases in the domestic top 20.

"The Winter Soldier" set a box-office record as the biggest April release ever when it opened with more than $96 million domestically. Starring Chris Evans as comic book hero Capt. America and Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, the Disney release has earned more than $200 million to date in North America — the 12th Marvel film to do so.

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Rentrak. Where available, latest international numbers are also included. Final domestic figures will be released on Monday:

1. "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," $26.6 million ($35.3 million international).
