Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's do-gooding continues.

During their recent trip to the Middle East - during which they met with refugees in Syria - the two also popped by the SOS Children's Village orphanage in Amman, Jordan, Oct. 1 to greet children after receiving an invitation from Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan.

"The SOS model of providing care for children without parental care is one of the best, as they are still in a family setting within their own country. We hope more people learn about their programs (sic) and give them support," said Jolie, 34, a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations' refugee agency,

Though it was Pitt's first time in Jordan, Jolie had previously been there in 2003.

The two have since returned to Los Angeles. Last week, Pitt took a meeting at his business office, and Jolie met with director Lasse Hallstrom.

Twenty-five years ago, California's Dr. Leonard Bailey transplanted a baboon heart into human infant Baby Fae. The interspecies heart transplant generated headlines and ethical debates.

Unhealthy heart: Baby Fae find photos was born in 1984 with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. After receiving the baboon heart, Baby Fae lived this long. She was the first infant to get a nonhuman heart transplant.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom Finally Sign Prenup

After weeks of negotiating, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have finally signed their prenuptial agreement.

The prenup is signed and the official marriage license for Khloe and Lamar is being filed this week. After working out the kinks, Khloe finally felt comfortable enough to sign her life away to Lamar.

The details of the prenup are on the hush, but we hear that Khloe’s demands included a flat sum of about $500,000 for every year they were married in case of a divorce, $25,000 a month in general spousal support, their new house, a new luxury vehicle at the end of every lease cycle, $5,000 a month for shopping expenses, and $1,000 for beauty care.

Suspecting juror misconduct, a Bahamian judge has declared a mistrial in the case of two people accused of trying to extort $25 million from Travolta’s family after a local politician said in a speech played on radio and TV that former Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater had been acquitted.

Closing arguments concluded this morning and the case went to the jury shortly afterward.
“The dilemma that we face is great,” Senior Justice Anita Allen told the court. “I am erring on the side of caution. Justice must be transparent.”
Bridgewater and ambulance driver Tarino Lightbourne pleaded not guilty for allegedly trying to get Travolta and Kelly Preston to pay for their silence regarding so-called damning details related to their son Jett’s death.

Travolta’s attorney, Michael Ossi, said his client will fully cooperate with future proceedings and testify again if need be.

“We are committed to seeing this through, and we are committed to seeing justice served,” Ossi said. “And whatever the prosecution asks us to do is exactly what we will do.”
In an emotional appearance on the witness stand, Travolta recalled finding Jett unconscious at their hotel in the Bahamas on Jan. 2, the day the 16-year-old died after suffering a seizure.
A Progressive Liberal Party official has already issued an apology on behalf of Parliament Member Picewell Forbes, who told a convention audience that Bridgewater was “a free woman.”
